Icy Wonderland

So I don't normally do hunts, but I saw this Peace on Earth hunt dress on the blog Fabulously Free in SL and was so reminded of Disney's Elsa that I had to put together a little costume. The reason I did POE is because their gift balls are easy to find. I have two hunt items featured in this pic--Rockberry's awesome pack of skins and Ever n' Angel's beautiful princess dress. The hair I'm wearing is from Eater's Coma and the shape is called Anna from the Marketplace. I love the skin from Rockberry because it's high quality and goes with a lot of the freebie shapes you can find at the Marketplace, so hurry and get it while the hunt is still going!! October Gifts part the Second

Here is a cute mesh top from LavandaChic, a sweet store with funky style for those who like kawaii style. I'm also wearing hair from this year's Candy Fair by Nikita Fride. It goes great with pastel-colored clothes and fair skin! I'm wearing my favorite pair of mesh booty shorts by Iffyta from the Marketplace as well.

And guess what? I found an amazing freebie by StarFyre Angels for the winter season! My jaw literally dropped when I saw that someone had posted a high-quality mesh fur coat for free! I immediately took it to go skating--and I found some free skates at the ring too!

Here's a close-up of this gorgeous coat along with the Mother Goose luckyboard skin and a great free hair by Lelutka. I'm also wearing skinny jeans by Tuty's (found in-world at their freebie section) and boots by R E D (Marketplace item).

October Group Gifts

As an SL freebies blogger it is, of course, important that I keep updated on all the latest group gifts, so here are some awesome October freebies from the designers that are amazing enough that they keep their group costs at 0L. I've also included the latest batch of mesh products from the Marketplace.

My first favorite is a sweater I hope they have in real life somewhere--I love it that much. Graffitiwear is an awesome store that offers highly detailed mesh clothing as their group gifts. Also included in the October gift pack is a pair of cute plaid shorts! I'm also wearing a Luckyboard prize skin from Mother Goose's and the shape from Hush's Autumn skin gift. My hair is from D!va, and it comes in a variety of colors as well.

Thirdly is a great Asian skin from Candymetal; the sweater dress that comes with it is clearly meant for a very skinny shape; otherwise the arms poke through (it doesn't come with an alpha :\)! I decided to wear a shape from *By Snow*, a fantastic mesh hoodie by Statement from the Marketplace with skinny jeans and converse hi-tops from Blackburns on the Marketplace. Blackburns offers a lot of great basic clothes that every wardrobe needs.

I'm also wearing a great new AO from Tuty's on the Marketplace called Lucky Girl. I thought it went great with the sporty outfit I chose for this skin!

Carrie Almost in Wonderland

This is one example of how you can spruce up an old Marketplace item with new outfits. Right now I am wearing Panda Punx's Cassie skin and shape set, with a great hair piece by Vignette in Second Life. Vignette is a fabulous freebie store with quality everything! The fabulous dress is by Dimbula Rose. The place I took this lovely photo is at Almost Wonderland, an interactive sim that even includes a "Drink Me" potion that really shrinks you!

If you're into fantasy role play, a great place to get your outfits from is The White Armory. They have fantastic dresses for their free group. The second place to get great stuff from (which is also good for dressing normally too) is the Designer Showcase, which features new and upcoming designers that always give away free gifts. The skin I'm wearing is by Kira, a designer located in the store who has two gorgeous skins for free.

October!!

I'm back!!

It's October, AKA Goth month. If you think it's impossible to find good goth clothes for your Halloween (or every days) that are 100% free, think again! With a little creative tweaking, you can even make yourself a great Halloween outfit, completely from scratch.
